Make a clean install of your DFX or open your C:/Program Files/Novalogic Folder and then copy & paste a clean copy of the DFX folder into the same directory.
Rename the new folder to whatever you want.
Double click on the SO_Mod.exe file.
When prompted to choose the folder you have just made (I.E. Delta Force Xtreme SO mod) which is located in C:/Program Files/Novalogic/...Folder Name.
Continue to follow the installation prompts given by the install program, this does take a while to load all the information into the new copy of DFX. Remember to wait for the DOS window to close before clicking finish.
Once the install has finished click the new desktop icon or start menu shortcut to play.
